Question: Any Sore Throat Cures!?

I have recently come down with a sore throat and i'm going to see my favourite band in concert tomorrow and i really could do without it or at least not as bad!.!.!.

has anyone heard of any cures even if your not sure they work!?
i'll try them all[within reason]

gargle - warm salty water, oil of oregano

internally - oil of oregano capsules or tinture; Olive Leaf extract!.
