As far as vitamins specifically, the main ones to help to boost and/or protect the immune system are Vitamins A, C, E, and some of the B Vitamins!. However, there are many more natural ingredients that help the immune system!. Some of the most popular natural products for boosting the immune system are Colostrum, Mushrooms (Maitake, Shiitake, and Reishi), IP-6 (Inositol Hexaphosphate), Beta Glucans, Elderberry, Echinacea (should be taken short-term only), and any antioxidants!.
Also, making sure you are eating a proper diet, getting enough sleep, and doing at least some form of exercise (even if it's walking around) at least a few times a week is good for the immune system!. If you are healthy and have a good diet, vitamin supplements are not going to be of any benefit to you!.

Immune system boost - provided you are healthy, and maintain a good diet and get regular exercise, there is nothing you can take to boost the immune system!. If anyone says something will "boost the immune system", ask them which part of the immune system and what is the mechanism - they won't have an answer for you!. The immune system is extremely complex, and you just can't boost it like a muscle!.
