Are most naturopathic doctors self-employed?!
Question: Are most naturopathic doctors self-employed!?
Hi,
I'm very interested in naturopathic medicine, however I am not sure how the job outlook is for this field!. Can patients use their health insurance to pay for naturopathic doctors!? Do naturopathic doctors work as family physicians where they have commmunication with allopathic doctors if necessary!?
Basically, can I get a job if I get a degree in this!.

1!. insurance does cover alternative medicine such as ND and DC medicines
2!. ND and DC are sort locked away from mainstream medicine, because of the older MD faction who set out to destroy all not medical professions (DOs,ODs,DDSs,DVMs(yes some of these old MDs work on animals lol),DMDs,NDs and DCs)!.
3!. in terms of self-employment yes you can be, you just got to be aggressive in gaining own patients just like a DC would, but do not make outrageous claims (bad DCs and new DCs grads make a mistake of using the word "CURE" in their ads)!.
on a sidenote:
alot of NDs have another degree on top of their undergrad!. which usually are one of the following: MSc, MPH, PhD, DC and rarely you will find an ND who is also an MD (my wife's uncle was an ND who later got his MD)
