Question: Have you found herbal remedies for sleep any good!?
Ive been taking "Kalms sleep" for the last few nights and they seem t have helped a lot but im wondering if that may be a placebo effect and wear off in a few nights!?

(ingredients: Valerian powdered extract 45mg
Passiflora Powdered extract 16!.82 mg
Wild lettuce extract 22!.5mg
Vervian powder 60mg

No it won't wear off at all!.!.!.valerian, hops and passionflower you will find in most natural sleep aids!.!.!.they are powerful calming agents versus being sedatives!.

What will happen is you may get to a point when you dont need aids anymore when your body gets into a sleep cycle of its own!. Even if you do need to keep using it, its completely safe!.

The other suggestion of melatonin is a good one too, its used quite a bit for sleep, especially those whose sleep cycles are disturbed by odd hours etcetera!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is working stop being a "doubting Thomas"!. Just doubting it can stop it from working!. The power of the mind is very real and can stop even a pharmaceutical remedy from working!. If it is working do not doubt it!. Believe in it and it will continue to work whether it truly does or not!. There is MUCH controversy over whether herbal remedies actually work or not!. If it is working, than continue it and enjoy your peaceful sleep and chalk it up to "Kalm's" which is a very popular herbal sleep remedy!.

I haven't heard of "Kalms sleep" but what I have using is the Tranquilenite Plus by New Chapter and I have to say it works for me!. It does have some similar ingredients!. You can check it out here:

I don't think it's a placebo effect because a lot of research has been done on these herbs and their effect on sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Valerian and melatonin work well together or just !.!.!.valerian, hops and passionflower combination are great!. No side effects!. Also you might try a little magnesium and calcium with the above as they are known to calm and relax!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best one I've found is sourced from Kentucky and taken in a draught of Coca Cola (and ice)

I like taking valerian and lemon balm!. The two seem to work well together!. I had bad experiences when I used skullcap, though!. It gave me night terrors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've never tried any herbal sleep remedies but I do think by doubting it's effectiveness you may be tricking your mind into thinking it's not going to work!.
