Answers:
I have been a patient of homeopathy for over 10 years!. I have not had to take a prescription or non-prescription drug in that time!. A homeopath will look for what caused the osteoperosis in the first place and go from there!. Calcium supplements may or may not be part of the regimin!. Homepathy and naturopathy are two different things!. Naturopathy can deal with herbs, acupunture, vitamins, mineral, chelation and more!. Homeopathy follows the law of similars or "what causes cures!." Homepathy addresses the mental, physical and emotional state of the person thus allowing the body to heal itself!. First, a homeopath is not the same as a naturopath, although naturopaths sometimes prescribe homeopathic treatments!. I don't recommend either, though naturopaths usually have decent advice on diet!.!.!.in this case they are wrong!.

If you have osteoporosis, calcium and Vitamin D are both needed, as is regular weight bearing exercise!.
Partly the RDA depends on your age, but 600 mg is too low!. 1000-1300 mg is about right for most women!. The recommendation for Vitamin D has also recently been increase to 800-1200 IU daily!.

If you have severe osteoporosis, then you should talk to your doctor about whether you should be on a bone stimulating drug!. They have been proven to reduce the risk of hip and spinal fractures, though they aren't for everybody!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There have have been studies recently that show that women of a certain age taking high doses of calcium (starting with 800 mg) had higher incidence of sudden death!. 600mg sounds safe in light of these recent findings!. You can do a search on Calcium and Sudden Death and Women to find out what I am talking about!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. If you're a woman 1200 mg!. of calcium is the recommended amount!. 600 is low especially if you have osteoperosis!. Did they run tests on you!? I recommend a DO over a naturopath because they are MDs who are well versed in alternative medicine and nutrition!. They can run tests, and have much more experience in a variety of medical fields!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

400 to 800 is about right!.

Homeopathy is something I wounld not recommend!. Wiki it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
