I have heard some people say smoking tea is calming but that's probably because it can contain nicotine, in which case you might as well just be smoking tobacco!. Ditto for nightshade family leaves which also contain nicotine, e!.g!., tomato and potato leaves!.
Another thing to consider -- the Commit nicotine lozenges, which have nicotine in them, or the Chinese e cigarettes which also deliver nicotine and are a lot like smoking but without the cancer-causing tars!.
Valerian root is apparently calming, but I've never heard of anyone smoking it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont know about smoking, but off the top of my head I can think of two types of herb found in teas to drink, and sometimes supplements in a pill form, that are good for relaxing: chamomile and valerian!. Both have been used traditionally for a long time, to help with relaxing and cure sleeplessness!. You can easily find both of these in any natural foods store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've heard it does help, but I would try drinking hot tea instead!. Celestial Seasonings has a great tea called Tension Tamer which works quite well for me!. Of course it is caffeine free!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
