Answers:
It is rife and it really annoys me!. People who have virtually nothing wrong as somehow getting away with getting higher rate mobility allowence and then claiming a car on motability!. I am severly disabled and needed numerous adaptations, it took SIX years for me to get a car and yet these people can get ones at the drop of a hat because they don't need adaptations!. Its rife mate!. You only have to look at the people parking their cars in a disab led spot then walking to the shops!.

Edit:- I do not care if an able bodied person are doing the shopping for a dis-abled person!. The fact is the "helper" is able bodied & therefore should walk from the narrower parking spaces like anyone else!. If they are assisting a dis-abled boddied person in & out of a car then fine!. But I stand by my statment that it is rife!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't know weather you know but some disabled people cant drive so they ask a able boded person to drive the car for them!. the car will be the disabled persons also the person driving the car maybe doing some errands for the disabled person, and that is legal!. though some don't see it like that!. you are obviously an able boded person who doesn't have to rely on other people or realise the help disabled people need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've no idea, but I know abuse of handicapped parking passes is a problem here!.

The ones issued here can have a time limit!.!.!.for example if someone is recovering from a broken leg, not a permanent disability like Parkinson's Disease!. People keep using them long after they are expired, and there isn't really any enforcement of that!.

My wife has a friend whose husband has MS, and no longer drives himself, but she uses the pass for her own personal shopping!. We've had a few arguments about that!.

It's a problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know someone who had one for a disability group she worked with and she used it all of the time!. There need to be better checks in car parks!. I see people all of the time who obviously aren't disabled using the bays!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
