How do I know when MACA has gone bad?!
Question: How do I know when MACA has gone bad!?
Hey guys, i bought some powdered maca in December last year!. Unfortunately, i didn't use it all immediately, in fact I have about half left!. When i went to use some today, i noticed that the powder had coalesced into big lumps and when I blended it it tasted bitter!. Is this stuff still good or has it expired!?

It will lump up over time!.!.!. that's totally natural for any powdered product that has any natural sugars (which is basically most fruits/veggies) in it when it gets to the humid summer months!.
As far as being bitter, that could very easily be the same problem, but may also be due to other storage conditions!. Powdered herbs don't really "go bad" like expired milk!.!.!. they can go stale (not taste as well) and after an expiration period, they may not be as beneficial, but they don't spoil if they were fully dried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
