Answers:
Certainly not days!. Weeks to months!.

It is an antibiotic and it only works for acne by killing the proprionic bacteria that typically feed on the excess sebum (an oil) produced by overactive teenage glands and cause the large painful cysts!.

Blackheads are simply plugs of oil, and the Minocyline has no direct effect on them!. Washing the face regularly, using some astringent cleansers, and getting facials is the only way to remove them!.

If it isn't working for you, then you should be re-assessed by your doctor/dermatologist and try something else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you considered using a Proactiv brand product along with your Minocycline!? While the medication will hep with the reduction of bacteria and oils, the Proactiv can help reduce or even eliminate black heads and the occasional blemish!.

I only bring up Proactiv because I have used it with success, but I'm sure other brands such as Clearasil's or Neutrgena's regimen of cleansers, astringents and moisturizers are just as good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have used benzoyl peroxide on my face with T-Stat solution!. T-Stat solution is an antibiotic and the benzoyl peroxide work well together!. I received this from a dermatologist but a regular physician can prescribe T-Stat solution!. Benzoyl Peroixde is over on the counter gel!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
