Answers:
Yes because ibuprofen is a NSAID which damages the lining in your stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is because you have a thin mucus layer ( prostaglandins they release a bicarbonate of soda which neutralizes the acid) in your stomach which protects your stomach acid from actually eating itself!. The Ibuprofen causes the prostaglandins to disperse and allow the stomach acid to attack the lining causing perforation, bleeding and in serious cases a peptic ulcer!. Having a full stomach reduces the surface area of the stomach which is exposed thus, reducing this serious adverse affect from the Ibuprofen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is important not to take it on an empty stomach, as it can irritate the stomach lining and may cause bleeding!. If you have taken it on an empty stomach and you start feeling stomach pains, sickness etc its best to tell your doctor!.

It's true that it can give you a bad stomach and there have been some who have had bad experiences with them, I have been taking them for 3 years with no side affects at all but I do make sure that I have something to eat before taking them, everyone is different!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, and don't take ibuprofen over an extended period of time!. It causes hemorrhaging of the lining of the stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As with all NSAIDs, they should never be taken on an empty stomach, this is because they can irritate the lining of the stomach and can cause bleeding!. In future always take it with milk or food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because it causes bleeding from the stomach!. You should always eat something when you take them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
