Over Prescribed dose of Synthroid?!


Question: Over Prescribed dose of Synthroid!?
What would be considered an over prescribed dose!? I was just given a prescription for 25mg!. How do you know!? Someone mentioned you would lose weight if over prescribed dosage!. I would like to lose a few pounds but don't want to be over prescribed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Taking more than prescribed is a very bad idea!. It may send you to the ER!. Please take the medication as directed!.
If you want to lose weight, do so safely by changing your eating habits and getting some exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please take only your prescribed dose!. The doctor is trying to level out your thyroid!. The doctor has based the dosage given to you on your thyroid tests!. Taking more to try and lose weight is not the answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sure it isn't mcg micro grams!? that can be very dangerous and is dose determined by blood tests , constant blood tests!
