Question: Anybody taking Acutain (or the generic brand, Sotret)!?
If you don't know what it is, it's a medication for severe acne!. This is my second month on it (hopefully only a few more to go)!.
If you do know what it is, you've heard of the side affects, or the unproven side affects that my doctor warned me about!.
Have any of you experienced changes in your mood or personality!?
i mean like,
-depression
-crying spells
-violent outbursts
i'm sure there's more!.

acutain a is known to cause depression with suicidal tendencies, but a very harmful side effect that i experienced was that i had started passing blood in my urine in the third month of six month course!. also my liver enzymes were effected!. it took me over 2 years to get my liver functioning normally!. later i found out that it takes about 7 years for your body to get rid of all the toxins form acutain!. acutain is a toxic form of vitamin A!.
