First, do everything in writing from now on with this chiropractor and the lawyer!.

Were there prior bills from the chiropractor!? If so, what did they indicate!?
Do you have correspondence from the lawyer!?
Did the chiropractor put this in writing!?

I would write a letter to the chiropractor expressing your shock at receiving this bill and restate your understanding of the expenses and everything you said above, just do it a little more professionally!. Keep a copy of the letter and the response you receive!. If he does not drop the matter, send him another letter stating that if you cannot agree within 10 days of the date of the letter, you will contact the state licensing board for chiropractors to see if they have a fee dispute board!.

Then do it!. It isn't uncommon for chiropractors and bad lawyers to work together to file false injury claims against insurance companies!. Sounds like that happened to you!. A promise to contact the state licensing board might be very persuasive to this chiropractor!.

I hope you got the "you won't have to pay a penny, my injury lawyer will take care of it all" bit in writing!. If not, you're probably going to be stuck with the paying bill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would call rthis docotor and speak with him on the matter!. If that gets you no where then consult a laywer!. If all of the people in the acciedent can veryify that was said you may have a case!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's why I tend to go to real doctors, especially after an accident!. They actually have training in these types of things, and can do more than crack your back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off - to the guy saying you should have gone to a "real" Doctor, a Medical Doctor would have made you pay up front, and it would have been a lot more than $2,500 even for one consult! So that's not really fair!.
Are you sure you didn't have any symptoms!? Even "minor!?" You don't have the training to evaluate that, and some patient change their stories later on and suddenly they say they never had any problems to start with when obviously they wouldn't have come to me if they didn't!.
Who advised you to see a chiropractor!? Why did they!?
It is actually illegal to promise that you won't have to pay anything, and he shouldn't have used those words - and it can get him in trouble with the State Chiropractor Board!. Call the office and ask the number for the State Board - I'm guessing he will call back in 10 minutes to tell you the bill is cancelled!. Good luck!.
PS: If you did have some symptoms, even minor, and he helped you with them, then do the honorable thing and pay the bill - it's not that much money especially for so many people!.
I have had patients get a little toe x-rays at the Doctors and gotten bills for $4,000! (I would have made the same x-ray for $25!) So put it in perspective please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
