Answers:
The health service can provide a thing called Night Sitting!.
You will need to contact Primary Care Trust!.
This link is a directory of the Primary Care Trusts in the UK
http://www!.nhs!.uk/servicedirectories/Pag!.!.!.

Night sitting is a services that provides a carer to stay in the clients home overnight after a trip to hospital!. This is provided mainly to help the bedding situation in hospitals!.
The client will be able to leave hospital and have to confidence to know there is a helping hand at home!.

If the care is for her husband and she does not qualify for care, she is able to contact any Care agency in the area and pay for a carer to go in - however this can be quite costly!.
Unfortunately, if her husband has not been assessed and allocated any form of care, she will have to pay for private care!.
Maybe she should consider contacting the authorities to try and get a suitable care package for her husband if she is finding it difficult to care for him!.

I hope this helps, if you need anymore info or help, feel free to e-mail me!Www@Answer-Health@Com
