Does Ginger give one indigestion?!


Question: Does Ginger give one indigestion!?
Lately I have been making ginger tea, eating candied ginger and cutting ginger into small pieces, once a day and eating it!. It know for a fact, that it does help inflammation, which is why I was doing this!.

However, this last week I have suddenly got indigestion and I wondered if it was connected to the ginger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It very well could be the ginger, especially if your all of a sudden taking a lot of it, you should (like medication) start off with small doses and increase a bit every week!.
Tell you a true story, i did to myself!. I loved broccoli with a passion and ate it 3-6 times a day for yrs, one day i ate it as usual and become incredibly stomach sick and developed a severe rashing!. A couple of days later, i say the doctor and told him what had happened!.
He checked the rash and told me i had over done it and given myself an alergy by eating far too much that it had built up in my system!. That was 8 yrs ago, i have learned i can now have broccoli and cheese soup, but i don't dare touch broccoli, because i never want to go though that sickness again!.
It does not matter what you put into your system, even too much of a good thing can be bad for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

In Natural and Herbal Medicine, any herb or compound taken in excess can become its opposite!. While ginger is known as a stomachic (and has many other uses, as well), too much ginger can indeed upset one's stomach!. It also does not work for all women against morning sickness!. You know when my sotmach hurts, i use ginger-ale, i love that stuff it's the only pop i like, anyway i guess i would agree with everyone else, too much of anything can be bad for you, so lay low on it for a lil while and when you feel better use a lil less!. Although i know that my mom drank one cup of ginger tea everyday for about a couple of weeks and she didn't have any problems so i'm a lil confused!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ginger is a stomach remedy for indigestion!. A little is a good thing and can cure you!. But too much can overstimulate the stomach and upset you!. I suggest taking ginger in capsule form at a meal followed by a whole glass of water!. It is a good anti-inflammatory!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Candy Ginger and Ginger Tea "made in China" (granulates) can be the cause of the stomach indigestion or the opposite!. To much of "hydrochloric acid"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it would not be indigestion you are suffering!. ginger is a strong aromatic digestive herb taking large quantities could give you a burning sensation in the stomach, but would not inhibit digestion Www@Answer-Health@Com
