Question: Does anyone know about Saw Palmetto!?
I know its good for prostate health, but also i've heard it can block the hair loss hormone DHT (dihydrotestosterone)!. Like it helps it not attach to the hair or something close to that!. Does anyone know!? Thanks to all who help :-)

People still don't know exactly how is works but it is believed to block an enzyme (5-alpha-reductase) from allowing the hormone testosterone from being converted to another hormone, dihydrotestosterone!. Dihydrotestosterone is considered a key contributing factor to the onset and progression of androgenic alopecia and benign prostatic hyperplasia!.
Saw palmetto has also been found to affect the levels of sex hormones such as testosterone and estrogen in other ways!.
