Deregulation in the US has allowed drug companies to profit from drugs that are less effective than existing drugs!. Some new drugs are marginally effective and more dangerous!. Should the US follow Austrailia's lead in carefully regulating drugs!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

What can I say besides, bull!. The regulations in this country are extremely tight and NO drug company will invest the hundreds of millions of dollars it takes to develop a drug if there's a better one already on the market!. And even if they did, it's possible for drug companies to push a new drug with the aid of doctors, but doctors aren't so money hungry that they'd elect drugs with shaky research over proven treatments!. Honestly, when you say ridiculous things like this, you make it that much harder for action to be taken when there is a legitimate breach of ethics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Something like this almost happened in Canada where new regulation would have vitamin supplements going to be in the same category as prescription drugs!.The repercussions may have been extreme, luckily the people got together and stopped it, because basically you would need a prescription and pay a very high prices for something like a vitamin C supplement!. It would be illegal to get your alt medicine from anyone else but a doctor!. Their really needs to be a system that encompasses the benefits of both worlds without infringing on peoples rights!.

in my opinoin, in all the drugs i've experimented with, cigarrettes and alcohol are the most harmful and dangerous!. However the government makes too much money off both to ever make banning these substances possible!. Money is everything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
