some may say you can and im sure u can but I also know its not worth the effort u first must soak it in warm alcohol everclearer something = 2 er better 151 rum or pharm grade alc any way let soak 4 a while then strain all the kava out then you have to boil off alc or let evaporate!. then u will b left with a resin vary gross 2 smoke kinda like burning plastic!. Ive smoked it w/no effect!. I do however make a mean grog that we enjoy w/friends!. Just a simple water extraction I use 1/2 cup w/2 cupswarm water 2 cups milk 1 tabl spoon soy letchion a tea spoon of cinn fresh ginger 3 slice about 1/2 in let set 20 min blend on high 3 min strain and enjoy!.!.!.!.!.!.!. well enjoy watching each other try to drink lol Www@Answer-Health@Com
