Question: What is a good brand of fish oil!?
My husbands doctor wants him to take 3,000 of fish oil what is a good brand to take he has some he sells that cost 35!.00 for a month supply but he said if we could find one cheaper to make sure it had higher DHA-EPA any advice would be a help thank-you and Happy Turkey DayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Walmart carries Rexall cold water Salmon oil!. Salmon is probably the best source of Omega 3!. An earlier answer said only distilled fish oil works!. That is total nonsense!. Eating fish is at least as beneficial as fish oil and no distillation is involved!. I have been using the above mentioned oil for years and my good cholesterol (HDL) has doubled!. I also take 500 mg of niacin which may be partly responsible!. But on my last test, I had been off the niacin for several months and the HDL was still up there so it must be the fish oil!. herbalife brand!.!.!.the stuff u get at the store is crap!.!.!.!.heres a good ways to test 4 good fish oil poke the capsule and put the oil in a Styrofoam cup!.!.!.first does it smell really bad!? if yes it could be rancid dont use it!! ok then pour hot water in the cup and after a few mins if the oil is not eating away at the cup it is no good!.!.!.the stuff at the store when it says 1000mg it means 1000mg in the whole bottle not in 1 capsule herbalife is the very best brand u can get u can buy it onlineWww@Answer-Health@Com
You get what you pay for!. Most fish oils dont' work!. It must be distilled or it won't do a darned thing for you and it must have science to prove that it is in fact, what it is they say it is!.
