No, the flower essences DO work, and I am far from gullible, I assure you!. For anxiety, I use a combination of Yarrow and Mimulus!. Different ones help different things!. And the thing is, they balance energies in the body, naturally!. You don't have to take them every day for the rest of your life, take it for a month, two, or three, and you will know when the essences have done their job!. Just discontiue until symptoms become troublesome again!. Rescue Remedy is another good one for axniety!. Anyone who has never tried the flower essences and used them properly is NOT qualified to tell you if they work or not!. They are just mouthing off about things they have heard, thinking it makes them sound smart!. I used to have to take a lot of benzos, which, obviously is not good!. I wanted to be off them, and was never able to stop taking them until I tried flower essences!. I didn't think they would work at all, but did it because my boyfriend said to just try it for 3 months!. I did, and was very pleasantly surprised!. There are many books on how and why they work, different ones to take for different conditions!. It is worth every penny and is less expensive than other types of drugs, and no side effects!. You can buy them online, if you can't find them in Canada!. Just type in Bach Flower Essesnces in google!. Ebay also has some!. You can even learn to make them yourself, but it is a long process, and it is more convenient to just purchase them!. I get mine in a health food store, make sure you emphasize flower ESSENCES, some will try to tell you the oils are the same thing, and they are NOT!. Oils aren't supposed to be ingested, generally!.
