The first answer was very accurate!. You do get athletes foot from diet!. It is a systemic problem that reveals itself called Candida Albicans, a normally friendly bacteria that lives in the gut and then mutates into a fungus and travels in the blood stream when eating too many refined foods over a lengthy period of time!.

It can manifest as dandruff, jock itch, athletes foot, leaky gut etc!.

So, when the first answerer said, stop the carbohydrates, that means stop the refined white flower products that feed the fungus!.

Diluted bleach thing is used to help kill a deadly fungus for rare jungle forrest frogs that are endangered!. So, its known to help kill fungus!.

The one answer you have about the Tea Tree Oil is also pretty good!. It is a natural disinfectant and fungicide!.

However, I have one for you!. Put baking soda in your socks mixed in with anti fungal powder!. Baking soda also snuffs out fungus!.

Both diet and external treatment with your socks and clean shoes ( Do not wear your shoes bare foot) and to clean your shower floor with bleach to kill any fungus spores after you bathe and to wear flip flops in public showers to not get any trans dermal stuff from others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Usually the strongest antifungal will work, but I am aware of another remedy that is supposed to be even stronger: soak your feet in a diluted bleach solution once or twice a day!. Very diluted! I don't know exactly, but I'd guess 1tbsp per gallon would do it!.
However, if you find you have athlete's foot that doesn't respond to treatment, you may have another problem!. For instance, people with untreated diabetes are notoriously susceptible to athlete's foot!. You might want to see a doctor about it, or at least cut back on carbohydrates in your diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Athlete's foot causes scaling, flaking and itching of the affected skin!. Blisters and cracked skin may also occur, leading to exposed raw tissue, pain, swelling and inflammation!. Secondary bacterial infection can accompany the fungal infection, sometimes requiring a course of oral antibiotics!.
The infection can be spread to other areas of the body, such as the groin, and usually is called by a different name once it spreads, such as tinea corporis on the body or limbs and tinea cruris for an infection of the groin!. Tinea pedis most often manifests between the toes, with the webspace between the fourth and fifth digits most commonly afflicted!.
