The previous answerer was spot on I reckon!. If you want to drink something that will control blood pressure, try hawthorn blossom tea!. You can collect it yourselfin the early summer!. It's remarkably effective , and reduces and normalises pressure on the venous side of the system!. Regular use of it also seems to protect from the onset of angina!. You'll find it in herbal shops under the name crataegus monogyna, sometimes cornucopeides!. But read up on it, and do not take it if you are already on hypotensive drugs!. Always tell your g!.p!., if you intend to follow a herbal regimen, and discuss it with him/her In the meantime good luck, and good health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no evidence to suggest drinking green tea will help hypertension!. Apart from hypertension drug therapy, the things you can do to help are to try and stay as close to your ideal weight as possible;, exercising regularly, reducing the salt intake in your diet, if you smoke you must stop and reducing alcohol intake!.

Also try and make sure you are eating a well balanced diet, including your '5 a day' fruit and veg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its a con - drink less (booze) don't smoke, avoid fatty food and get exercise (has high blood pressure too!)Www@Answer-Health@Com
