I've done it for my patients (varying degrees of success) and I have colleagues who specialize in fertility and have use acupuncture to stimulate labour for women who are past-due with great success!.

Properly applied acupuncture will stimulate your body to "do what it needs to do to be healthy!." (It's all about balance with Traditional Chinese Medicine!.) So if your body and the baby aren't ready, the acupuncture won't work!.

That said, acupuncture is NOT benign!. Never never never perform self-acupressure or acupuncture unless you've been specifically taught how by a qualified practitioner!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can bring on Labour with Acupuncture!. When I woman is pregnant and is getting acupuncture, there are a few points that are avoided due to being able to start labour!. My assumption is those are the points she wants to use!.
Those points create a energy that is pushed downwards, therefore stimulating labour!. The most common one is called Spleen 6 and it is located on the inside of your leg, approximately 3 finger widths above your ankle!.
I can only assume that you are way past your due date for her to want to do this!. If you are a first time mom, it is common for baby to be "late" by 2 weeks!. Just do lots of walking!
Good luck and hope it goes quickly and smoothly for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why not just let nature take its course and have your body go into labour when the baby is ready!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
