Question: Have you heard of Quackwatch/ Steven Barrett!?
I'm tired of this Quackwatch and Steven Barrett lying about natural medicine!. Looks like he's been pretty much exposed as a quack himself!. WHY are people constantly using this idiot as a SOURCE on Yahoo answers!?!?!? I'm tired of asking questions here and getting dumb people trying to tell me that Quackwatch says all "alternative medicine" is bunk!. Look at the insane history and dealings of this Quack!

Well, some people believe what they WANT to believe and will site any "source" that agrees with their pov!. I think perhaps you are among them!.
But regardless, I don't recall ever reading on Quackwatch that ALL alternative medicine is bunk!. Some clearly is, other therapies are potential beneficial!.
I think he does a fairly good job of researching and making available information people simply NEED!. He's not just spouting opinions, he sites research and experts in the fields!.
I don't agree with everything on the site, nor do I swallow 100% of what the proponents offer!. For example, Andrew Weil - Quackwatch says he contradicts himself and makes sweeping statements!. Which he does!. I've heard him speak and read his works and follow many of his recommendations - but he DOES indeed contradict himself, etc!. even in his writings!. And sometimes he makes no sense!. I feel no need to toss the baby out with the bathwater but it's important to know that what someone says isn't necessarily all "that"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
