Here is an excellent article describing the validity of muscle testing!.!.!.http://www!.daegak!.de/fileadmin/daegak/fi!.!.!.

This is the final analysis!.!.!.

In conclusion, this paper demonstrates that good to excellent reliability and validity exist for the use of MMT for patients with neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction!.

The studies demonstrated good external and internal validity, and the 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on MMT showed that MMT findings are not dependent upon examiner bias!.

In order to evaluate the effectiveness of MMT in the diagnosis of patients with musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders, it is necessary to survey the full range of research studies that have addressed the topic, giving due consideration to the strengths and weaknesses of the studies in the literature!. After such a review critics of chiropractic MMT and of AK in particular should consider many of their critiques answered!. Muscle testing, which is the backbone of AK, has good evidence to support its use in the field of chiropractic to diagnose and treat neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction!.

Hopefully this presentation has stimulated a desire for others to review the current MMT literature and become effective users of and contributors to chiropractic MMT
research!. [1, 75-76]

Let me also add that at the age of 10 my son was muscle tested!.!.!.I watched everything that was done and was witness to the results!.!.!.it was amazing and it even surprised the kinesiologist at how well it worked for my son in regard to his personal and health issues!.

In my opinion muscle testing is valid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In my opinion, it is unlikely that there is a definitive scientific reason behind muscle testing!. (The fancy name is applied kinesiology!.)

I have been tested by naturopaths, nutritionists, chiropractors, one MD, and several "energy healers" (one of them is a well-known author and seminar leader)!. I suffer from chronic fatigue related to depression!. I eat well and do lots of exercise but felt that I needed additional help in the form of herbs, homeopathy, nutritional supplements, etc!.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the results of energy testing!. I have heard similar reports from other people!. To be fair, many people think it is a very valuable tool!.

I am very intrigued by the way my arm would go down after answering some question or holding some food or remedy!. I would be determined to hold my arm up, but it would flop down as if I did not have an ounce of strength!.

If I could offer a hypothesis, it is that the practitioner doing the testing affects the results!. If he/she expected the arm to go down, the arm of the person being tested would probably lose strength!.

I doubt there are strong scientific studies proving the validity of muscle testing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The body has it's own wisdom which is usually overlooked by the mind, which cannot easily attune to it's messages, as most of us have not been taught how!. The body's wisdom accessed through muscle testing is a valuable tool that can assist anyone to make healthy choices for one's body!. When the arm goes floppy it means that the body does not consider the food being tested to be of good service to you!. When the arm stays strong, it indicates that the body has an affiinty for this food!. People who use applied kinesiology in a skilful way can assist people towards holistic wellness with great results!. The key is finding a great practitioner!Www@Answer-Health@Com
