If your doctor put you on ativan, then you probably really need it!. Ativan isn't one that gets prescribed often!. I'm not a doctor, I only like to read about herbs, but st!. john's wart is often used as an anti-depressant and if you're taking the ativan for the sedative as well you could try either melatonin or valerian!. They won't be as strong, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
GABA 750mg!.
Not addictive!. It's the actual amino-acid in your brain that Ativan and Xanax try to increase artificially!.
Check out your adrenals if you have anxiety + allegies!. They are probably stressed and overproducing adrenaline and underproducing cortisol (= hydrocortisone)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cutting caffeine and sugar will help with anxiety, but doing some moderate exercise (walking, jogging, etc) can help quite a bit as well!.
If you would like some added help, there are some natural products for helping with mood are St!. John's Wort, SAMe, 5-HTP (or Tryptophan), Rhodiola Rosea, and some good stress-relievers are GABA or L-Theanine!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
