Good home remedy for a COLD SORE?!

Question: Good home remedy for a COLD SORE!?
ugggghh I hate these things!!! Abreva and Relieve don't work for me!.!. i usually keep a cotton ball of alcohol on it!.!.!. any other suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Put a drop of undiluted Tea Tree essential oil on the cold sore every hour or so!. It tastes kind of bad, but tea tree kills bacteria, viruses, fungi -- everything!. It will dry it out the cold sore, and then the skin will have to heal, but if nothing else is working, it's worth it!.

Just pour a drop of tea tree oil onto your fingertip and then pat it onto your lip!. Try not to touch the dropper part of the bottle -- it's best to try to keep it germ-free!.

You'll read lots of literature that says don't use undiluted essential oils, but there's also a school of thought that says it's fine!. Anyway, I do it whenever I get a cold sore (thankfully, not very often!) It works for me!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

mix equal parts of

Golden seal
garlic
skullcap

preferably organic (get these in bulk herbs at health food store or online or even open capsules) in a little vodka and apply to the cold sore!.!.also see his other suggestions and more about this formula at the provided links

also mix these herbs and add 80 proof vodka and let it settle adding more herbs or vodka till it is 1/2 herbs at the bottom and 1/2 liquid at the top!. (the alcohol extracts the phytochemicals from the herbs that cure and prevent disease and several times more than a tea does!.

shake daily for two weeks and then strain into a glass bottle!. discard herbs!. Label the bottle and put expires (5 years from the date you started it though it will last many years longer) store in a dark place or put in a paper bag or colored or painted bottle as light deteriorates it and you will have on hand next time!. You have now made a tincture stronger than 90% of those on the market and at about 10% of the cost!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well this has always helped me, it is an all natural home remedy
get a glass of warm water, put some salt and lemon juice in it, gargle with it, if the cold sore is in your mouth, if not, get a cutip or some tissue to hold it against it

cold sores annoy me too!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would put the contents of an acidophiles pill or a small blob of yogurt on the actual cold sore itself!. I have found that this heals cold sores in about half the usual time [sometimes less]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep dabbing hydrogen peroxide w/ a q-tip every hour or so on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
