Was on Dextromethorphan pills!.!.
End Of Feb
Got cought!.!.
Teacher called my parents and explained everything!.!.
Early March
Change!.!.
I changed and stop smoking and stop taking these pills!.!.
Early April
Body Rashes!.!.
Based on what i read

Usually cough require to take long time to recover!. As you mentioned, skin rash appeared after you stopped your medicine, therefore I believe that this is not the side effect of dextromethorphan (DXM)!. Side Effect usually occurs during the course of your therapy!.
A good thing that makes me happy is you have quited smoking, since smoking can cause you to cough!. I hope that you can keep this habit!.
Your skin rash problem can be caused by allergy or other infectious disease, therefore I suggest you to visit doctor if it persists for many days!.
For what I am telling you is just a guideline, you need to tell your doctor that you were taking DXM as your antitussive agent, and also the matter about your skin rash!. I believe he/she can give you a more accurate advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
