What Are All Of The Prefixes Before Medication Names On Prescriptions? (Teva, Ra!

Question: What Are All Of The Prefixes Before Medication Names On Prescriptions? (Teva, Ratio, Ran, etc)?
On prescription bottles I always see prefixes before the chemical's name. For example, my prescription to fluoxetine says "Ratio-Fluoxetine 10MG", my mom's prescription to venlaflaxine says "Teva-Venlaflaxine XR 150MG", my old prescription to risperidone said "Ran-Risperidone 0.5MG" etc.

What do they mean? Teva, Ratio, Ran, etc.

"Teva" is the name of a drug manufacturer.

"Ratio" doesn't make sense in the context you quoted. It's normally used to denote a numerical relationship between something, i.e. the ratio of Thursdays to non-Thursdays is 1:6.

"Ran" is probably short for "Ranbaxy", which is another drug manufacturer.
