Try meditation, it's good for many things.
After persistence in relaxing the mind, observing the body,
the body will relax too, and you will discover many things about your body.

Just see it's for you, not all people are ready for meditation.

That all depends on where it is, what caused the pinched nerve, how tense your muscles are and if you are continuing to do what cause it in the first place. A nice massage could help. Or soak in a hot bath. Maybe even a heating pad or one of those muscle pads athletes use. Good luck with that. I hate those.
