Question: Is it safe to do this. ?
I finished a 3x a day 10 day perscription for Clindamycin. Three days later I got another perscription for it again, my strep/tonsilitis has cleared up alot. but apparently it didn't clear up all of it. is this safe to do. ? im allergic to just about every other antibiotic, i have to stick with this even if it is taking a while. Now I must take it 4x daily for another 10 days.

Clindamycin is a lincosamide, which is a relatively unexplored class of antibiotics. (At the retail pharmacy level, clindamycin is pretty much the only lincosamide game in town.)
If you were going to have an allergic reaction to this medication, it would've happened already. It's perfectly safe to finish this regimen.
Follow what your doctor has Rx. Not safe to start a treatment and not finish it. That is was causes resistant strains of bacterium.
