Question: Mouth Herpes,, How long does valacyclovir take to work?

Developed herpes on the roof of my mouth and took the two pills for my first dose about 3 1/2 hours ago. when will it really start to work?

I would say a few days...but keep in mind that the amino acid, L-Lycine may accomplish the same thing, with no side-effects.
