Does adderall work for everyone?!

Question: Does adderall work for everyone?
I'm a 22 year old college student. Had some work/studying I needed to get done. Always wanted to try out adderall so I finally got some. Started out just taking 1. Waited on hour. Nothing, so I took another. Waited another hour. Nothing, so one more. I've taken 5 in a matter of 3 hours and I have no change in my demeanor. Are there just some people that adderall doesn't work on? What are some other uppers I could take? I smoke weed regularly and have done acid a few times, if that could possibly help with my substance use.

Maybe you should stop abusing drugs that are meant to help those of us who really have a mental condition called ADHD.

And honestly I doubt you've even done anything. Because 1. Adderall will cause a non-ADHD person to become high since there is no dopamine deficiency to be treated, and 2. If you really smoked weed, you'd know it's a downer, not an upper. -__________-;

Adderall is a dangerous one, I would not experiment with it. And yes, it could be that it just won't work for you. When I was young cocaine was a big thing(along with a few other ones), I tried cocaine and nothing happened--everyone around me got off on it and I didn't get any kind of high, even though I had snorted it just like the rest of the crowd. Of course, now I am glad that it didn't work for me because I've seen a few die on overdoses......

Thats the worst thing you can do! Never take more and more so you'll feel it because then you can end up O.ding and its a really terrible. Adderall does work for everyone im pretty sure maybe the dosage was to low for you to feel it - it depends on your weight and height. As a rule of thumb never take more then 1 pill per 2 hours and if you don't feel it then wait till the next day or even a few days after to try again. A random side note adderall is going to make you sweat alot, haha just thought id share

Adderall? takes at least 30 minutes to kick in, sometimes 45 or even an hour. And that's for the instant-release tablets.

It's possible you got some phony tablets. Do you recall their color and/or whether the tablets had letters/numbers inscribed? Were the tablets frangible (easily broken in half) or solid? What, if anything, did they taste like?

Stop using substances.
