It would make you happy, not going to lie. there is no come down like people say you wont feel worse then before. I'd say try it

hmmmmm....

First I would consult a family physician to see what they have to say... but they may be prejudiced by laws and not the medical facts.

I think everyone who is old enough and responsible enough should smoke cannabis, but thats just my opinion. Smoking cannabis can change your perspective on life which definitely could help with depression. Your anxiety could be lifted after your experiences show you how much you truly don't care about your stresses in life. Personally through cannabis I have found a greater appreciation for life and the beauties of the world.

If you do choose to start make sure you do it with a couple buddies, don't smoke alone until your experienced or else you can get paranoid which sucks. When you do smoke just forget about everything and have a blast. Have something to occupy you like a movie, video games, nature or anything else you usually like to do. It can become an easy habit to get into so take breaks every couple weeks to let your tolerance die down.

I am personally a frequent smoker of Cannabis, but as a social practice, not as an escape. I had a period of time when I was being treated for depression and anxiety and I had problems with self-harm. The best way to deal with it is not to escape it with drugs, but to have a release. I personally found that creative releases were helpful to me. I used art and music to get over depression, not drugs. Now that I am fully recovered I smoke marijuana with my trusted friends for fun. It's like getting drunk at parties and not being an alcoholic. You can do it socially and not have a problem.

It's not that I am against weed in general, it's that I know what you are going through and it is a very bad time to try/experiment with drugs. Don't even consider it untill you get better.

no, drugs are bad. you will feel good for a while but then the about you felt good when you were high you will match that amount by feeling depressed. and once you do feel that depressed it takes more and more to make you that 'happy' again but once the feelings over, you will feel sooooo depressed that you will kill yourself. and die. and get murdered by a guilty conscience. and your teeth will fall out. and you will get bruise looking things on your arms that are really gross. and you will end up spending sooooooo much money on something that's making you depressed that you are not only depressed but broke and unhappy and you will stay single forever!!! long story short, worst idea EVER!!!!!!!!! don't do it. a better way to handle this is to find something to help you cope with it, like i do taekwondo. it kind of helps release anger and frustration without actual swearing and ruining friendships. :)

my brainz and books and school and internet.

Nah. Every time you crash and burn from the high, you'll only just get more depressed than you already are. Seek professional help and find out what issues are causing your depression and then deal with them.
