Is it bad to take OTC (over the counter medicines) when taking antibiotics?!

Question: Is it bad to take OTC (over the counter medicines) when taking antibiotics?
I have a minor sinus infection and I went to the doctor and I received antibiotics. However, these antibiotics are specifically for the sinus infection. I also have a long lasting cough. If I take Robatussin Cough and Cold (which I got off the shelf) will it clash with the antibiotics or harm me?

Answers:

No, you can take OTC sinus meds with your antibiotic. They will complement each other, not clash. You should make sure that your OTC contains a decongestant, which will help your sinuses open up and drain.

No, it would be fine.
