Hi I was wondering if an std check is done prior to a vesectamy. Also what else do they look for in the first appointment. Thank you

No STD tests are done before a vasectomy. A physical examination is done of the genitalia first however. They will check the penis, testies, look for hernia and any other abnormalities either congenital or acquired.
