"Readily curable" and "metastatic cancer" do not belong in the same sentence together, generally speaking.

Metastatic colon cancer CAN respond well to chemo, and some individuals end up in remission and live long, happy, healthy lives. Others do not respond well to treatment.

There are a number of things that can be done from a naturopathic (herbal, orthomolecular, etc) perspective that can help make the chemo more effective, and help your body (and spirit!) stay as healthy as possible while you're undergoing treatment. But please note that these should *NOT* be considered REPLACEMENT for "mainstream" treatment of cancers.

Everyone in the world seems to have an opinion on "alternative" treatments for cancer. 80+% of the time, these are completely uninformed opinions with little to no basis in actual human physiology. And unfortunately, too frequently the people pushing their opinions are making an unscrupulous buck off the fear and desperation of their clients.
- When looking for adjunctive treatment, please do find a QUALIFIED practitioner. (Registered ND, for example.)
- If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
- Your oncologist should be aware of EVERYTHING you're taking.
- Chemo is a game-changer when it comes to physiology. So without a firm understanding of the physiology involved from all angles, one shouldn't be prescribing supplements. Find someone who understands the science!
- As a side note... just because the oncologist okays something, doesnt necessarily mean he's done the research. I've treated patients whom I've had to talk out of certain "alternative treatments" which would have cost a lot and may have made things worse. Oncologists sometimes think if it's natural, it wont have any effect. [incorrect] Or that the patient is in dire enough straights that it won't matter if they try every silly thing under the sun. [incorrect.])

I wouldn't bother asking questions about cancer in this category. You will find many people who have survived just that condition in the health > diseases and conditions > cancer category.

The nose doesn't know anything. Don't let them scare you.
