Question: I want to take a (natural)sleep aid?
I have had insomnia for the last month only getting 4 hours of sleep a night, I want to take a sleep aid but im scared they have to many side effects? Anybody taking a sleep-aid that works, without the dangerous side effects?

The best thing I've found is a very hot bath.



melatonin - naturally occurs in our body to help us sleep. It can be bought otc. I don't know your age or if this is the problem you are having, so be careful with whatever you do.

If you do the melatonin, do only 1/2 the dose recommended on the bottle. If it seems to help, do not increase the dose. If it doesn't than slowly increase the amoun to the recommended dose. If that dowsn't help, then there is another problem and you should see the doctor.



Some of the posters have it right when they say melatonin. Stuff works really well for me, especially in terms of staying asleep once I fall asleep. I get mine at www.happynutritionals.com, because they have a product that has the right dose of melatonin, plus something called l-theanine, which is an ingredient found in "calming teas", and lemon balm extract. Both of these are all natural and help relax you so the melatonin can do its job. Works like money for me and its super cheap. Like 17 bucks and it lasts me a few months. Love it! Good luck...

melatonin you no get it in the uk get from states i do.dr bach do sleep remedy plus lavender oil on pillow chamonile tea or horlicks.malt and milk surppose have some chemical that helps brain to calm.try al those together
