Has anyone done a parisite cleanse?!

Question: Has anyone done a parisite cleanse?
I would just like to know what happened, if you could tell me a little about it. Thanks

Everyone has parasites-- and they barely affect you, unless you have something like a tapeworm. And even if you do do a parasite cleanse, the parasites will eventually come back assuming they're ones that most people have. They aren't hurting you unless, like I said, you have some sort of worms or dangerous parasite.

"Has anyone done a parisite cleanse?"

Loads of people. Every one of them was scammed and wasted their money. If you think you have parasites then you really need to be under the care of a physician, gut parasites are relatively easy to get rid of, one or two tablets, other parasites you might need specialist treatment such as at a tropical medicine specialist.

People living in the developed world are very unlikely to have parasites. If you did, a "parasite cleanse" would do nothing to get rid of them. Products like these aren't evidence based and are really just scams; the same applies to homemade versions.

Edit: Jed, I believe you're confusing harmless/beneficial bacteria with parasites. Parasites always benefit at the expense of a host.

Ah yes, the old parasite cleanse scam. Useless products targeted to the 'worried well'. You can't 'cleanse' your body; if you really had a parasitic infection, you'd require proper medical treatment. Beware the minefield of scams and snake oil that is 'alternative' medicine.

That sounds very risky. Most parasites have very specific treatments...no one product can kill and remove all parasites in all growth stages without hurting you severely or killing you. If any product claims to do that, you are being scammed.

Parasites need to be treated with antihelminthics.

Antihelminthics are NOT sold over-the-counter.

Therefore, whatever you're thinking about buying is a scam.

what makes you think you have parasites?
