Question: Home Remedies for Migraine Headaches?
I am suffering from migraine since last few weeks. I have no clue about the reason behind it. What I know is nothing but it comes for an hour or more and then I will back to my normal life. However, this repeats now a day. Can anyone help me with some home remedies i can rely with...?

Lots of information here.

There are several different types of headaches and migraine disorders including migraines, tension, sinus and cluster headaches. Migraines are often described as pain in or behind one eye, pulsating with moderate to severe intensity and/or head pain that worsens with exertion (ie. Moving, picking something up); it also includes nausea, vomiting, an aura (light/haze around objects), light-sensitivity or sound-sensitivity. Tension headaches are commonly described as a vice clamping down on the temples of your head, and patients do not tend to suffer from nausea, vomiting, or light/sound sensitivity. Sinus headaches include pain in general regions of the face, such as face, ears and teeth. The pain usually develops with runny nose (rhinosinusitis) from allergies or a cold. Cluster headaches usually develop with pain in the eye or eyelids, and do not tend to last very long.
There are many triggers to headaches and migraines, some of which include: emotional stress, hormone changes (menstrual cycle), low blood sugar from not eating, weather changes, odors (ie. Perfumes or tobacco smoke), loud noises, sleeping late, alcohol, neck pain, heat, exercise and sexual activity.
Typically the first line treatment of headaches and migraines includes medication, such as ibuprofen or Tylenol with caffeine and aspirin (Excedrin migraine). It is encouraged to consult with your local pharmacist to ensure that taking an over the counter medication does not interfere with any prescription you’re currently taking.

Ideally, you need to determine what is triggering your migraines. Stress, food etc. Try keeping a journal and log everything you eat and drink. It might take a while though, and not everything will give an immediate reaction, so it can be a bit tricky.

Having said that, after suffering regular migraines for maybe 20 years or so, I don't get them anymore. I started wearing my scalar pendant and was shocked - but overjoyed - to find immediate relief. It's been several months since I started wearing it, and I swear I have not had a single migraine since then.

(Recently I 'slept funny' and my neck was out, giving me a nasty headache. It reminded me of how much pain I used to go through with migraines, and made me all the more grateful that I don't get them anymore)

I hope that you too are able to get your life back soon.
