Aternative for sleeping pills?!

Question: Aternative for sleeping pills?
Hello, I have been having trouble sleeping for a while now. This past year I really haven't been sleeping well at all. I always wake up and feel un-relaxed. I wake up very easily sometimes which irritates me, i rather be a heavy sleeper. Sometimes I can hardly sleep at all. My friends told me to go to the doctor and see if he would prescribe something for me, but i declined. I don't want to make trip to the doctor and I rather stay away from pills. Does anyone know any good alternatives that have maybe helped you? Something that can make me fall more into my sleep?

Definitely. A combination of Valerian and Passiflora. Get these from a Naturopath to take as drops. The issue is most likely stress/something that is on your mind. I had this problem, waking up all the time, and this fixed my problem. It's not high potency, so if you want effects immediately, try just valerian tincture (liquid) on its own.

These have no side-effects, and like the stress that is the source of the problem, the effects are cummulative, so after some time you don't need to use it anymore.

Good luck.

Relaxation drinks work extremely well for me i had such a hard time sleeping after i drank this it makes you sleep so heavy i dont know where you live so go to this website to find more information and a store that sells them near you. http://www.marleybeverages.com/

melatonin works great, it is a natural hormone that monitors your sleep/waking cycles so you can sleep at night and wake up in the morning, without being groggy...It helps to keep your shades open so the light will come in in the morning...for the waking cycles. I would use valarian root with caution, for some people, they sleep for days, I took it once and slept for 10 days, it's not common, but if you try it take care with small amounts till you see how it works for you. The amino acid L-tryptophan is what your body needs to make its own melatonin, and you can buy this and use it instead of melatonin...take it at night about an hour before you want to sleep...if you take the tryptophan in the daytime, it is usually used to make seratonin, as a mood enhancer...also, calcium/magnesium supplements help you sleep, if you are behind on either of these the amounts should be at least half as much magnesium as calcium.
