Question: Strained my voice and am playing troy in highschool musical in 2 days !!?
Hello. Iv been rehersing like crazy as im troy in high school musical on stage. There are so many high notes and iv been trying to reach them. today at the dress run with mics and everything i lost my voice and could not sing. I kept singing but it was crockey and very horrible sound. my throat doesnt hurt or nothing im just so scared about not being able to sing on the 4 nights its being shown

Don't sing, talk or whisper until it is completely better or it will damage your throat even more. Drink plenty of warm water, avoid cold drinks and food too.
I am a music teacher.
Stop singing straight away. You could do some permanent damage to your voice.
