Question: Doctors what are your thoughts on cranial sacral therapy,or acupuncture for TMD/atypical face pain?
Hi i asked a question a while ago about what i can do in my circumstance,the best option and safest for my health,instead of spending a whole pile of money i cannot afford to see top consultants about my tmd/or a typical facial pain i just want pain relief now as this is the second night i cannot sleep and in excruciating pain,i know there are injections but will they freeze up your face and change it like botox?im scared of that and don't know who to see about this pain you can get and i was wondering what is the best scan do i do first i am afraid of the tunnel mri what are my options?
also since money is limited should i just go the alternative route someone told me about cranial sacral therapy just wondering what are doctors views on this?also can blood tests show if there is something wrong with major facial nerves? and is going to a doctor in private practice always best?thank you for your time and answers
