How to control symptoms of IBS on my lifestyles?!

Question: How to control symptoms of IBS on my lifestyles?
I have IBS more than 5 years, but no significant improvement.

Answers:

You are under a lot of stress and you need to deal with your emotional stress. Once you get another job and feel secure in it, you will probably feel better. You might want to take some medication for the anxiety you are feeling.

What are your dietary restrictions? I was told I should not have any caffeine, carbonated beverages, spicy foods and mint. I was able to adhere to most of my diet, but I would occasionally cheat on chocolate. Then I found out that Hersheys sells caffeine-free hot chocolate. When I stopped cheating on regular chocolate and substituted this caffeine-free hot chocolate, my abdominal pain greatly subsided. I used to justify my cheating with saying that chocolate doesn't have that much caffeine, but apparently it was significant enough for my medical problem.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is linked to stress, so anything you can do to lower the stress in your life would be good. You may want to try relaxation exercises, deep breathing, etc
there is a prescription medication for IBS, called 'Bentyl' that helps with the symptoms.

Continue fiber therapy and reduce the amount of caffeine in your diet as well as chocolate and alcohol, which can trigger attacks, good luck feel better.
