Question: Can i take Promethazine in place of xanax for a few days?
i get really bad panic attacks where my heart beats and i litterly cant breathe and feel like i need to run and go to the hospital...i just took my last xanax and really cant get anymore for awhile..i do have some Promethazine the round white pill that says 225 gg on one side an blank on the other..can i use this for my panic attacks until i get more xanax i know Promethazine has a sedative effect so would it help with panic attacks?

Promethazine is not indicated for panic attacks. Xanax is a bad drug - one of the main problems with it is that abrupt cessation (such as in your case) often leads to withdrawal SEIZURES. Promethazine will not prevent this.
Incidently - there is no need to "run to the hospital" for a panic attack - no one dies from panic - unless you do something stupid - like speed to the hospital and get in a wreck.
Stop depending on PILLS to handle life.
