There are a few that will help but they don't cure the problem, you need antibiotics, see a doctor asap before it gets worse.
Most infections tend to be viral and antibiotics don't work on viruses.
If you have had a cold or a sore throat, try an antihistamine (ask pharmacist's advice, some cause drowsiness).
You can get aching ears through fluid building up in the middle ear because it can't drain away as it should
(there's a tube connecting the middle ear to the back of the nose to allow drainage, but if the nose is congested it doesn't open as it should).

A tooth problem can cause earache as can TMJ (temperomandibular joint disorder (needs a doctor to diagnose)

Ear infections can spread down to the jaw and shoulder, I know this because I had a severe ear infection once, and actually had one last week. Go to the ER, they will give you ear drops with steroids to numb the pain inside the ear, which also contains anti-biotics to fight the bacteria. They might also
give you pills, trust me, the drops will work so fast! It's like in 10 minutes the pain will go down by more than half, I promise!
Lots of experience with ear infections! Trust me, go to the ER. Don't listen to this people, remedies aren't 'cures'!
You can use hydrogen peroxide for external ear infections. Most of the time external and middle ear infections resolve on their own with no antibiotics needed. It's an abuse of antibiotics to use them for this sort of issue, and if it's viral it won't work at all.
heat garlic cloves in coconut oil, pour 2 or 3 drops* after it cools down in your ear might reduce the pain

No, go and see a doctor. You have two ears and if damaged can't generally be repaired, don't mess about with them, get it treated
Antibiotics are needed.
