Question: How to ease nausea? ?
I have an anxiety disorder, so whenever I'm at school, I feel nauseous. I miss a lot of school because of it. How do I ease my nausea?

Answers:

To calm the nauseous feeling:
Peppermint tea, or suck on a peppermint candy if tea isn't convenient
Ginger, you can eat fresh ginger or have ginger tea
Are you taking any prescriptions or herbs for the anxiety? These can work wonders. Personally, I take GABA and Valerian at night and it helps with my anxiety and panic attacks. Sometimes I'll also take the GABA during the day.

I would second the ginger suggestion- it really will calm your stomach. Try keeping some ginger snaps in your bag, or sipping on some ginger ale.

I've smoked my share of non-medical marijuana, and have to say that to the novice user, it can make you nauseous, it did me a few times. Besides, I think you'd like to remember what you learned in school. There's a reason people are called pot-heads, and it's typically because they forget a lot of things.

Like Marley says. Cannabis is the best anti-nausea medicine there is. Other than that, perhaps some 7-up or Ginger Ale on a more reasonable level.

Also, you may want to give antihistamines a try. Such as small doses of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) or Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine). I've heard they have therapeutic effects for anxiety which may calm your nausea. Both are available at your local drug store.



Marijuana works wonders. Don't knock it till you try it.
