You might be. Here in California I know several people who have medical marijuana cards and there's nothing really wrong with them. At the marijuana dispensaries they have doctors that will give you a prescription, apparently you just have to say 'I get headaches sometimes' or something like that.

You should try pot and see if it helps. If it does, then talk to your doctor. I would guess Oregon is pretty liberal about such things.

You probably have to try a lot more things before medical marijuana becomes an option for you. For example, doctors would recommend other pain medication before going to medical marijuana.

A minor can get a prescription for medical marijuana only with the cooperation and consent of the parents. Chronic backpain at 13 seems an unlikely scenario, so it might be difficult to prove, especially since you have not mentioned any heavy duty prescription pain medication or other alternative approaches. Gettign a prescription for medical marijuana is a very complicated process in most jurisdictions, and is not given without serious reasons. Usually people with prescriptions have pain from terminal illnesses such as cancer or have glaucoma or multiple sclerosis.

Sad state for 13 years old! Need to ask mom, dad and Dr!
After the Dr. uses prescription pain killers, etc. maybe MMJ would become an option. As my father used to say - haven't tried anything so now what!

Tending to MMJ

NO. You have to be at least 18, 21 in some cases. usally is is prescribed for cancer patients. The first thing they would try for you is a pain patch or other options such as therepy, yoga, topical creams, and toher pain meds.

No. Sop i guess you have to try and find some other way of dealing with it.
I'm sure you have not tried everything.

Because you are under 18 if you were to even be considered for a medical card, your parents must approve and sign for you.
