Try using a warm hair dryer on your ear.
Sometimes I use a little peroxide in my ear (apply by dipping a cotton ball and then tilt your head and squeeze, you'll hear the bubbles).
From the drugstore, they have ear drops made for ear aches that you simply put in your ear and keep head tilted for a few minutes.
Try steam. Either close the door and take a really steamy shower or boil some water and remove from heat, drape a towel over your head and the pot of water for a few minutes.
This is what my mom used to do: she chopped an onion and put it in a thin piece of cloth, put it on the sick ear--scarf around our heads and then sent us to bed-----believe it or not, 9 times out of 10 the ear ache was gone the next morning.
What you also can try is grapefruitseed extract" it is a natural antibiotic/antiviral and so strong that it is recommended to take probiotics when finished using it....
I used to get a lot of earaches and my mom would get the dr. to put drops in my ears. Didn't work. My grandfather would blow smoke in my ear (he smoked a pipe, however, cigarette smoke works also) and it would go away. I tried the heat from a hair dryer after I grew up and it did not work. Find a smoker to blow the smoke in your ear and plug it with a ball of cotton for over night. You will be fine in the morning! If not, see a doctor.
see your doctor. You'll look a bit silly in 10 years time when your kid is telling you about school and having to use sign language
