Wow are you serious? I knew ayurveda was silly but do they seriously claim sticking a hole in your nose will help with menstrual cramps?

I mean really, a hole in your nose?????

What's the mode of action, how is the nose connected to the female reproduction organ?


Oh dear someones a little grumpy. I was perfectly serious with my question. I know and care little about alt med but find it fascinating, and if you think that piercing your face will have an effect on your reproductive organs then, well there's not really a lot to say to that.


Your personal insults are unnecessary and unpleasant but this is indicative of the alt med crowd when people question their unusual claims. Perhaps if you were more secure in your beliefs you would be less abusive.

So what if something has been has been used for thousands of years, that's hardly solid evidence of efficacy is it?. You're also talking about a country with an average life span almost 20 years less than the US, UK or OZ.

How about me seriously helping here. Go get an MRI get them to trace the flow of chi round your nose pinpoint the nose meridian (you did say this was based on acupuncture didn't you?), and Bob's your uncle!. Oh dear I do hope I'm using the correct terms here I wouldn't want to appear silly while discussing these weighty issues.
